ERIN FARMER
Owner & Head Swimming Teacher
Erin has qualified to the highest levels in the swimming industry, and is proud to be one of the very first in the country to hold the prestigious award from the Swimming Teachers Association (STA) -
Level 3 Diploma in Aquatic Teaching - Baby and Pre-School in 2017. As well as achieving Full Swimming Teachers qualifications.
Erin has 12 years teaching experience as a swimming teacher and is a life long swimmer!
It had always been a dream of Erin's to open her own swim school reflecting her passion for swimming and dedication to providing quality lessons for babies and pre-school children within the Southampton area.
Before opening Baby Swim UK in April 2017, Erin was
Head Teacher of Parent and Baby & Toddler Swimming at Shirley Swimming pool and worked for City of Southampton Swimming Club as a swimming teacher and assistant coach to the development squad.
Erin is a proud mother, to her premmie baby daughter. born in 2020 at 31 weeks and weighing just 3.3lb.
Erin is a qualified Hydroactif Aquafit instructor.
Erin has also studied NVQ Level 3 Early Years Child Development, and managed a creche at The Quays Swimming and Diving Complex.
SHELLY BRENTON
Baby & Pre-School Swimming Teacher
Shelly joins Baby Swim UK, having qualified in STA Level 3 Diploma in Aquatic teaching: Babies & Pre-school, STA Level 2 Baby and Pre-School Teacher and an ASA Level 2 Swimming Teacher.
We are thrilled to have Shelly join our teaching team in 2019 she is highly passionate and dedicated, and loved by the parents and children she teaches!
Shelly has enjoyed the water from a young age herself, and found her passion for teaching while taking her own daughter to parent and child swimming lessons! Shelly brings a natural mothering instinct and welcoming smile to her classes.
